The descrirption of this place is also mentioned in the Skanda Purana, the Padma Puran and Aina-i-Akbari. Lonar is known by the fact that it has the worlds 3 largest crater. Formed by the impact of a meteorite hit, today this crater is a full fledged pond. Many researchers from US universities and India’s geological department make a visit to this place routinely. At Lonar the travelers can take a strong notice of wild life, birds, and black-white wag tales, tailor birds and robins often visit this region.
Panshet: Perched at the best location between Panshet Dam and Varasgaon Dam, Panshet bestows the travelers with a holiday option that is completely obscure in nature.
