Climate in Maharashtra
Maharashtra State has a typical monsoon type of climate accompanies by hot, rainy and cold weather conditions. Tropical conditions prevail all over the state and even hill stations are not those cooler. Dew, frost, hail also occur according to the weather. March, April and May are the hottest months of Maharashtra. The temperature in these months ranges from 22 degree Celsius to 30 degree Celsius. July and August are the wettest months which receive maximum rainfall of more than 200 centimeters annually. Cool dry spell, with gentle and pleasant weather prevails during the months of November to February.
