There are vast expanses of fruit orchards of chikoo fruit. Accessible from Dahanu is Udwada, an important place of worship for the Zoroastrians. Thousand year old sacred fire is kept at the Zoroastrian temple. The nearest railhead is gholwad which is 2 kms and Dahanu rail head is 15 kms from this destination. The nearest airport is Mumbai which is 145 kms away from this mesmerizing beach.
Ganapatipule: The Ganapatipule is one of the most spectacular beaches in one of the most spectacular destination for the nature lovers, peace seekers and pilgrims alike. Te temple of Swayambhu Ganesh is frequented by thousands of pilgrims every year. It is also known as Pashchim Dwardevta. Many pilgrims visit this destination to pay ablutions to their deity.
